Driving Offences

We are highly experienced in defending motorists facing offences such as drink driving, speeding, using a phone whilst driving and other driving offences.

We will advise you if you have a defence to the allegations you face. Where we feel that you do not have a defence, we will advise you about your options in dealing with your case. Our goal is to help you keep your licence and stay on the road

General Crime

We have years of experience representing those accused of crime whether at the police station stage or before the criminal courts.

We can attend the police station at anytime and anywhere, subject to our availability, to advise and represent you. We cover all the usual offences such as assault, burglary, etc... we are also able to advise and represent those facing the more serious offences such as murder, rape, kidnapping etc...

Extradition is the formal process where one country asks another to return a person in order to stand trial or serve a sentence. Under multilateral conventions and bilateral extradition treaties the UK has extradition relations with over 100 territories around the world. We can act for you if you are facing extradition proceedings from the UK

Pricing & Fees

General Criminal Defence

1 Representation at the police station
We will advise you on the allegations you face, attend with you at the police station for your initial interview and all subsequent interviews arranged by the police. Where appropriate, we will write to the police to seek a discontinuance of the investigation against you. £1,500.00
2 Representation in the magistrates’ court
Advice and representation in the magistrates’ court in a case where a guilty plea is entered and no preparation is required for trial. £1,500.00
Advice and representation in the magistrates’ court in a case where a not guilty plea is entered and preparation is required for trial. £2,500.00
3 Representation in the Crown Court
Advice and representation in a committal for sentence and early guilty plea in the Crown Court. £3,500.00
Advice and representation in case where a not guilty plea is entered and preparation is required for a trial in the Crown Court. £6,000.00
4 Motoring offences
Written representations, for example writing to the police to dissuade them from taking you to court or drafting written mitigation on your behalf to the court to argue against a discretionary disqualification. £1,500.00
Representation at court, including exceptional hardship and general mitigation to argue against a discretionary ban or to keep a mandatory ban to the very minimum. £2,000.00
Contested hearings/special reasons- this will include writing to the CPS if appropriate to seek a discontinuance of your case and advice on appeal where necessary. £2,500.00
Advice and representation in a committal for sentence and early guilty plea in the Crown Court. £3,500.00
Advice and representation in case where a not guilty plea is entered and preparation is required for a trial in the Crown Court. £6,000.00
5 Fixed Fees
When the case is extremely complex or you face a particularly serious allegation, we will discuss with you well in advance the option of hourly rates. Our hourly rates are £200 per hour.
Note Above fixed fees only include our fees and the fees of a barrister or an external advocate we may instruct. They do not include the fees of an expert if we instruct one.
If there are additional hearings, you will be asked to pay an additional fee of £500 per additional hearing in the Magistrates’ Court or £700 per additional hearing in the Crown Court.
Note The fees will be discussed with you from the outset and throughout the case and we promise to be very flexible about our fees.
